Before & After School Surf Care
Our Salty Groms Before & After School Surf Care includes convenient school pickup from selected local schools before heading down to Kirra Beach for a surf lesson and beach games.
Our instructors safely collect the kids from school and transport them to the beach where the afternoon session begins.
Pickup days do not work for you or your school is not listed?
Reach out and let us know. If there is enough interest we are happy to add new pickup days or schools and make something happen.

What a Session Includes
• School transport
• Surfboard and leg rope
• Rash vest
• Qualified surf coaches
• Structured sessions
• Capped numbers to maintain supervision and safety.
If Conditions Are Not Suitable for Surfing
We begin with a short surf safety briefing covering rips, sandbanks, tides and ocean awareness.
Activities may then shift to bodyboarding, bodysurfing, wave reading drills or organised beach games.
Students would remain active while continuing to build confidence and ocean knowledge.
Grouping
Students are grouped by ability and confidence to ensure safe progression.

Find our "Learn to Surf" van in the Kirra Beach "Roughton Park" car park, right across from 15 Marine Parade (Coolangatta). This is our permanent, council-approved location.
